The President of the Board of Directors of Semper Communitas was wounded in Fallujah, Iraq on September 14, 2005. He retired in 2017 from the Marine Corps and over the last nine years, water-based endurance and resistance training has been a central focus of his structured training program to promote wellness and resiliency.

Semper Veteran means always veterans.
The aquatic therapy portion of the program contains structured low-impact water-based endurance and resistance training with tactical conditioning to include ruck recovery and breath work for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and recovery protocols for Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
The wellness and resiliency therapy is made up of guided sessions with contrast therapy, stress reduction, and open dialogue.
The primary goal of this program is to promote veteran reintegration with their family and society. The program will initially be rolled out to qualified Marine Corps Veterans in 2026 with scheduled camps.
